The CEO’s Villainess Childhood Friend - Chapter 53
Qiao Moyu’s hand slowly pulled the trigger.
“If I knew you were Qiao Moyu, I never would’ve dissolved the engagement.” Ye Peicheng’s eyes were as deep as the twilight sky. The feelings from the bottom of his heart began to reveal itself little by little, and his voice was a touch more gentle: “Moyu, we used to know each other. My name is Ye Peicheng.”
After speaking, Ye Peicheng jumped off the car and walked towards Qiao Moyu until he stood in front of her.
Qiao Moyu never lowered her gun. She never withdrew her gun until the moment its muzzle touched Ye Peicheng’s chest.
Ye Peicheng slowly lifted his hand and was about to hold the back of her hand, Qiao Moyu’s perennial illness suddenly struck her. She covered her head in pain and lost her bearings…
“Moyu!” Ye Peicheng quickly reached out to catch her and asked nervously: “What’s wrong?”
At this moment, they were currently surrounded by guns on both sides; the air was so heavy that people forgot to breathe. However, Ye Peicheng seemed unaffected by the situation around him and continued to embrace the girl under everyone’s eyes.
Qiao Moyu’s nose was full of the man’s clean breath. She weakly opened her eyes and looked up at Ye Peicheng. Unwilling, she weakly yet stubbornly yelled: “Let me go!”
“Moyu, I’ve been searching for you for a long time.” Ye Peicheng approached her ears, and whispered with his deep voice: “Since I’ve finally found you, I won’t let you go.”
Qiao Moyu has never been so close to a man. As Ye Peicheng’s hot breath fell on her ears, she felt as if countless electric sparks spread from her ear down to the rest of her body. Her natural instinct was to push the man away from her.
However, he hugged her tighter, and his petal-like lips did move away. He whispered to her in a much lower voice: “Keep at it.”
Qiao Moyu knew that he was advising her as an actress, not as her character in the act.
She wondered why he would help her out. After all, she knew that if she really did push him away, all of her efforts would go to waste and she would fail the audition.
After speaking, Ye Peicheng straightened up slightly with Qiao Moyu in his arms. At this moment, he restored his earlier appearance of an iron-blooded young commander and directed the ‘imaginary’ adjutant next to him: Deputy Qin, return to the commander’s quarters!”
As he spoke, Qiao Moyu stood upright and twisted slightly to release herself from Ye Peicheng’s arms.
But before she could do so, Ye Peicheng looked down at the girl within his embrace and lightly whispered to her, his eyes dark and unclear: “Good performance.”
Afterwards, he let her go, as his hug was just a part of the act earlier.
Qiao Moyu raised her sights and looked at him deeply. She smiled at him and said: “Film Emperor Ye, thanks for helping me with the performance.”
“You’re welcome.” After saying so, he turned around and returned to his seat behind the camera.
“Moyu, go home and wait for the news! Call up the next auditioner!” Feng Dao said. The assistant rushed and did his job.
While the director was giving out orders, the producer behind him picked up his cellphone and typed a line: “The performance finished, it was very successful.” Then he sent out the text message.
